KB Motorbikes is responsible for the maintenance and good technical condition of its vehicles. It is our aim to provide good quality vehicles that are regularly checked in order for our clients to enjoy their vacation without any problems.
KB Motorbikes has the right to refuse to rent any of its vehicles to any person the company deems not to have the necessary driving skills, invalid or missing driving licence or permit from the country they are from or for any other reason where KB Motorbikes believes there is a danger to the persons or third parties health or safety. This refusal may occur even after a booking has been made and confirmed.
The minimum rental period is one day – 24 hours from the day and hour you take delivery of your vehicle.
All our vehicles are picked-up at the offices of KB Motorbikes in Ayia Napa, Cyprus during our office hours (08:30 to 19:00). For any pre-booked and confirmed vehicles, KB Motorbikes will arrange transport to their office to pick up the vehicle from your accommodation and then return you to your accommodation when you return the vehicle (within the Famagusta area). The duration of your rental starts and finishes according to the pick-up and drop-off dates and times stated on your Rental Agreement.
Please note that the passport of the person renting the vehicle will be kept as security by KB Motorbikes for the duration of the rental agreement and will be returned to them once the vehicle has been returned to KB Motorbikes and any additional costs from damage, etc., (if any) have been paid.
The person renting the vehicle will be required to sign a Rental Agreement when they take delivery of the vehicle – this agreement will state all the necessary information that the renter will require. By signing the agreement, the rental confirms that they have checked the condition of the vehicle and that any damage to the vehicle will be recorded on this agreement as well. When the vehicle is returned, it will be checked by KB Motorbikes for any damage and the renter will be liable for any damage that is not detailed on the rental agreement and will be payable immediately.
An additional one (1) driver may drive the vehicle, but they MUST be accepted by KB Motorbikes and their name entered on the Rental Agreement for them to be covered by the insurance. The additional driver will be charged an additional €10.
Unless otherwise stated on the Rental Agreement, the vehicle is to be returned to the offices of KB Motorbikes. In the event that the vehicle is returned late, then there will be a charge of one quarter days rental for every hour over the stated time on the Rental Agreement.
Should the vehicle be returned in a very dirty condition, then KB Motorbikes reserves the right to charge an additional €10 for cleaning of the vehicle.
All vehicles use 95 Octane Unleaded Fuel and rented with a full tank of petrol. They must be returned with the same level of fuel (full tank), as when the vehicle was taken else an additional charge for the fuel will be made at current market prices.
KB Motorbikes accepts credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro and American Express) as well as cash (Euros).
In the event of any technical problems with any of the vehicles rented, KB Motorbikes must be contacted immediately on +357-99819695 – failure to do so immediately may result in the person renting the bike having to pay additional charges.
In the event of an accident or damage to the vehicle rented or to a third party, KB Motorbikes must be contacted immediately on +357-99819695. There must be no acknowledgement to any third party of responsibility until the person renting the vehicle has spoken with KB Motorbikes as this may result in the person renting the bike having to pay additional charges.
All vehicles are insured THIRD PARTY. In the event of an accident then the person renting the vehicle will be liable for any damage to the vehicle they have rented should they damage the vehicle (not initially stated on the Rental Agreement when taking delivery of the vehicle) or in the event of an accident where they are found to be at fault.
